Laina's Bridal Portraits

So its taken me a while to post Laina's portraits on the blog...but they're finally here! Laina was so graceful and composed, despite the searing afternoon heat. We met her in Glen Rose, and brought this chair from our home in Dallas. The photos on the chair were pretty cute, and now I'm a little obsessed with finding interesting chairs for this purpose. As with the wedding photos, I had a hard time chosing just a few favorites, so here are ten that I really like.

There were so many beautiful pictures of Laina and Zach's wedding that it was hard to chose which ones to post! Seriously, whittling them down to 15 was a difficult task. Laina couldn't have done a better job chosing her wedding colors of pink, purple, green, and orange. During the ceremony, the lighting was soft and natural, and when the sun went down, the venue sparkled. It was an honor to get to shoot this wedding, and we wish Laina and Zach an amazing journey together in the years to come.

What a amazing couple! After having to reschedule because of the unseasonably cold and rainy December temperatures (yes, maybe we were too optimistic about the weather), we were very lucky to have a bright, sun-shiny day. There was just one little problem - its was about 40 degrees outside. But Laina and Zach were so upbeat and positive. They came prepared with multiple outfit changes and a great sense of who they were. They were so easy to take pictures of! We can't wait for their warm weather wedding!
